Not much of a reader (I have always enjoyed Audio books), I found this fast-paced and entertaining. I jumped into the series a little late and will go back to purchase the 1st and 2nd novels because I want to know more about the characters and previous plots which were alluded to in this novel. All characters were nicely developed and I started to care about them and each individual's challenges. The scene where Blake exploded with anger toward Nadia was very well described... I wanted to learn more about that history; seems that I will learn more with the previous novels. I got this novel for free but would gladly have purchased as it kept my attention.Product details

In Plain Sight A Blake Jordan Thriller The Blake Jordan Series Book 3 eBook Ken Fite Reviews
What a great thriller. Lots of action from beginning to end with a good ending. Not too much sex or cursing, just allot of action. After I read this book last week, 01-10-18, I watched the new X-Files program on TV. They mentioned Titianpoint & Blarney, that were the the basis for the ending of this book. A coincidence, I don't think so. There is no such thing as a coincidence. I think Ken Fite has a little bite of Tom Clancy in him & he should watch out before the powers that be do away with him. A great read that rings true & sets up some future adventures.
Blake Jordan is hunting for clues to find the terrorists and the friend that they kidnapped. Along the way his relationship with Jamie is growing and Blake must come to grips with what he feels for her all while strategizing on how to get a step ahead of the bad guys. Jordan is is a complex character as he wrestles with who he is and the job he must accomplish.
The book kept me turning pages just to see what he was going to do next and to see if he is ever going to get a chance to pop the question.
Mr. Fite, your books just keep getting better.
I have read the previous two books, The Senator and Credible Threat, and this is the best of the three. Loved the plot, the twists and turns, the development and interaction of the characters, and the presentation of the story. There were subtle references to the previous book, enough to tie them together, but not so much that you were left with of feeling of missing something important. After having read the previous books, I was waiting for tis one to come out, and was definitely not disappointed.
If you enjoy knowing more about the author, additional background on the author's books, and what goes into the creative process, I'd
suggest that you visit Ken Fite's web site and signup for his newsletter. For me, these have been very interesting to read.
I was really looking forward to this third book and I wasn't disappointed at all. Blake has such a personality and feels things so deeply. It is not your usual "spy" novel at all. I am not going to go into the essence of the book at all. Instead I want you to read it for yourselves and get the first and second novels if you have not already done so. Blake Jordan is so much more than you would think. I was very sad when it ended wanting more. Just have to wait for the next one I guess. Ken Fite, you did it again!!
Just finished this book #3 and now I am reading #4 in this series. It is an on-going thriller series with a lot of action about the USA being under constant terrorist attacks. I have all 5 books in this series as I like to read them in order. The books can be read separately as the author does go back in time to refresh people who have not read the previous books. At least it is detailed like other books wherein I have had to skip reading to get onto the story at hand. This author does limit the back in time portions to allow the readers to know what is going on with each character but does not go in to detail. Thanks!
In Plain Sight by Ken Fite certainly lives up to the genre of political thriller! There is a little of everything in this third novel in the series. it begins with cyber terrorism pulled off by a young kidnapped man who was lured from the DoD by a man he thought would be his boss at NSA, only to find out no such job existed and the man was a spy for the Russians. And then Blake Jordan who is under special assignment by President Keller, whose life he saved in an earlier book, learns from the woman who murdered his own wife that there is going to be another terrorism attack within 48 hours. Fite makes it impossible to put down the book once the reader starts it by having almost non-stop suspense leading up to one thrilling event after another, with agency competition getting in the way more than once, but Jordan does not let that stop him and sticks his neck out time after time in this exciting novel. I highly recommend all the Blake Jordan series of three books with a fourth being written as I write this review and I can't wait to read it!.
This is book 3 of an on-going series about Blake Jordan, a federal agent with the fictional Department of Domestic Counter-terrorism (DDC). This novel features characters introduced in and continues to develop a story-line developed in books 1 and 2. This was a good story and a good read.
In much the same way that 24 isn't realistic, this novel isn't realistic. The situations in this book, however, are totally plausible - people from other countries trying to harm the US and it's citizens, government agencies in conflict and working at cross-purposes, political nonsense, and terrorist plots that we need someone to thwart. Some that which I find unrealistic is admittedly part of the appeal - the idea of a selfless, courageous, and powerful government agent like Blake Jordan makes the book fun to read. I like having someone to pull for, even though I didn't have any delusion that he wouldn't save the day in the end.
I'm looking forward to book 4 to see what happens next.
Not much of a reader (I have always enjoyed Audio books), I found this fast-paced and entertaining.
